From idea to impact

Your next big idea.

We accept grant proposals year-round. Here’s where to start.

01

Start with innovation

Your project must introduce new ideas, methods, or technologies that enrich learning. If it isn’t innovative, we don’t fund it.

02

Tell us your plan

Read the grant criteria, then share your project, its impact on students, and the funding you need.

03

Board review

Our board reviews proposals about four times a year, considering innovation, impact, identified needs, and feasibility.

In their words

EDUinnovate has provided Ellington teachers with ongoing creative opportunities to enrich the learning experiences of students from elementary to high school.

Let’s bring your idea to life

Apply for a grant.

Educators, community and parent volunteers, students with a sponsoring educator, and nonprofits can apply for innovative projects carried out in schools.

Before you send it

Grant criteria at a glance.

Every proposal is read against four things.

01

Innovation — required

Your project introduces new ideas, methods, or technologies that enrich learning. If a proposal isn’t innovative, we don’t fund it.

02

Significant impact

Measurable, lasting difference for one or more groups of students — especially where opportunity and resources are limited.

03

An identified need

A clear, specific gap: missing resources, an underserved school, or a learning outcome we can help move.

04

Feasible with our help

Work that can’t move forward without funding support — not a project already covered by another budget.

Who can apply

  • Educators
  • Community & parent volunteers
  • Students with a sponsoring educator
  • Local nonprofits working in schools
